Diamond Flat Lap
The Electroplated Diamond Flat Lap Disc is a high-quality product designed for precision grinding and polishing of brittle materials such as glass, crystal, ceramics, precious stones, and diamonds. This lap disc provides a flat grinding surface for both rough and fine grinding, making it an ideal tool for lapidary artists, jewelers, and glassworkers.
The disc is made of top-grade diamond powder that is nickel electroplated uniformly onto a 1mm-thick steel disc. This ensures that the diamond particles are firmly embedded in the disc, providing consistent and even grinding performance. The diamond disc is then professionally bound to an acrylic backing plate, making it ready for use.
The steel construction of the disc provides a long lifespan, making it well-suited for heavy-duty grinding tasks. The electroplated diamond laps are compatible with All-U-Need and Slant Cabber lap machines, as well as other lap machines that accept 1/2″ arbors.
